Can’t Make It to Lunch at The Coffee House?

Try Australia, or try London, Chicago, Edinburgh, Philadelphia, New Haven, Boston, or Madison, Wisconsin.  Your Club membership offers you access to 20 clubs around the world.

Do come to lunch at The Coffee House, when you are in town.  If you must leave town, do visit one of the clubs listed overleaf.

Some Suggestions:

Some of our reciprocal clubs may take you at your word if you say you are a member of The Coffee House, but it is best to play it safe by obtaining a card of introduction from the club office before you go.

Some of our reciprocal clubs accept or require cash payments;  others will send you a bill c/o The Coffee House.  Please do pay before you leave if possible, so we do not have to forward your bill to you.

Do come to lunch or to other events at the Coffee House whenever you can, do visit our reciprocal clubs when you are away and do let us know about any club you feel would be good for us to have a reciprocal arrangement with, and do give a warm greeting to those who visit The Coffee House via our reciprocities.  For more details, see the volume on reciprocities on the Club Room desk at The Coffee House.

And remember, visitors to New York may enjoy the privileges of The Coffee House, as temporary members, for a period of one month, without the payment of dues.  That period of temporary membership may be extended at the discretion of the Acting Secretary.  Members may obtain such privileges for visitors by informing the Acting Secretary and the staff of the name of the prospective temporary member.  Temporary members are entitled to The Coffee House rate at The Roger Smith Hotel (Address: 501 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10017, (800) 445-0277).  That rate must be requested when making reservations.  It is not available at certain times of the year.
